From Ciftekopru to Istanbul: the line of a business life

A child raised in the narrow valleys of the Black Sea, in the shadow of old stone bridges, would years later see his working life reach the ports of Istanbul, the shipyard piers of South America and the construction sites of Eastern Europe. Born in 1968 in the village of Ciftekopru, in Artvin's Borcka district, Mustafa Egemen Sener's journey does not fit into a single sentence — but it reads in a single discipline: what comes from the field is seen in the work, not in the word.

His working life, settled in Istanbul, began on the construction and contracting line. Field experience in residential, commercial and heavy contracting work, over the years, blended into infrastructure — dam bodies, road–bridge lines, water and treatment structures. Each line has its own engineering language; all carry the same work ethic: measure, time, word. For Sener, the end of a job is the same as the promise of its beginning.

From the 2010s onward, the line took on an international dimension. A shipyard deck in Montevideo, a port aerial view in Recife, logistics lines on Argentine piers — this presence on the Atlantic shore built a bridge from construction discipline to maritime logistics. Today the port–shipyard line under the group roof is the concrete record of that international experience.

In 2016, the founding partnership in Altamira Global Strategies added strategy and risk management to the working life. The international formation he received at RSM Rotterdam formed the foundation of this direction. The group is no longer only a builder; it is a roof that manages its investment, risk and strategy with the same discipline.

1. 1968

   Beginning in Ciftekopru

   Birth in the village of Ciftekopru, Borcka, Artvin. The narrow valleys of the Black Sea geography teach the measure of working life early.

2. 1990s

   Construction line in Istanbul

3. 2000s
